Colton's got some chompers

Last week, I thought I saw the signs of a few teeth starting to come up, and Monday, the first one broke through, and today the other tooth came in.  Oh thank goodness, at least now I know why Colton has been such a horrible sleeper.  Let's just hope there is a bit of a break before those top teeth decide to come in.
This picture has nothing to do with him getting his teeth in.  It's just a cute one of the girls giving him some love. :)

Lovin' the camera

Everytime I get out the camera, Abby and Lexi are OBSESSED with getting their pictures taken.  No joke.  And Abby is the master "poser".  So here is a few pictures from this afternoons "session" when I was trying to get pictures of Colton rolling over.

Abby wanted one of them making funny faces.  Lexi's is pretty funny.

Colton rolls over

Tummy time

going, going

gone!

I could probably count on one hand the number of times that I've given Colton some decent tummy time (not really, lets just say it's a pretty rare occasion), but this afternoon when I put him on his tummy he rolled over.  So, I put him back on his tummy, and he rolled over again, then again, and again.  He totally KNEW what he was doing.  He would play for a minute, then push up with his hands, then leeeeaaannn over.  He's pretty much mastered it :)

Big, brave, Abby

Today, Abby had a skin tag removed from her bottom lip.  I'd noticed it a couple of months ago, but it only recently started to bother her, so we headed to the doctors to get that little thing removed.  She was so brave!  They had to give her a shot to numb the area, then they zapped it away with a little laser.

This is the only picture that I could find that you could kind of see it.  It's pretty small.

Family update

Here's a little recap of what everyone is busy with right now:

Cam:
He's still just working and working some more.  He is enjoying spending time with his brothers a lot lately, now that Ethan came home.  They are even planning a boy's trip for this weekend to go shooting, and do who knows what :)

Leisa:
I'm busy with the kids as usual.  And on top of all the normal daily activities, I'm trying to fit in some Physical Therapy too.  For the last several years, everytime I try to start running regularly, about 2 or 3 months in, my hip starts to hurt.  So, I decided it was time to finally get that situation taken care of.  Hopefully a few weeks of PT will take care of the problem, and I can start to get a little more serious with my mileage.

Abby:
She is also busy, busy, busy.  She's got school and dance and playdates and it seems she is going a mile a minute somedays.

Lexi:
She is just as happy as ever.  Her little personality is really starting to shine threw.  She's learning so much, and taking in as much information as her little 1 year old brain can hold.  We finally got her happily going to nursery.  Cam and I have recently joined a gym that has a daycare, so her next test will be going to daycare for an hour or so.  I don't think it's going to be pretty at first, but I feel confident she will learn to love it.

Colton:
He's constantly changing and growing.  I've got him eating cereal everynight for dinner, and he absolutley loves it.  He still is a horrible sleeper at night, even though I've tried everything I can think of.  Maybe it'll just take time.  Until then, we are up 2 or 3 times everynight. Boooo!

Ethan comes home

Last Thursday, Cam's youngest brother returned from his mission in Canada.  The whole family went to the airport to greet him.

Ethan and Are'
Two years didn't seem to really age him that much, he might be a little bit taller, but other than that, he's the same ol' guy :)

After, we all headed to In-n-Out for dinner.  Cam's family absolutely loves that restaurant, and I haven't quite figured out the draw.  It's the greasiest hamburgers, with the greasiest fries.  And those are your only choices :)

It's so nice to have him home!

A great weekend

Ever have one of the days, where your just uncharacteristically happy?  That was me this weekend.  I started off yesterday by doing double duty.  I headed out for my run, and took along Cam's IPhone, so I could listen to the morning session of general conference.  I took a new route, that took me up into the hills, on a fairly secluded dirt road.  It was so awesome to be out enjoying nature, and listening to our church leaders.  I think I had a smile on my face all seven miles.
Sunday, it was just me, Lexi and Colton.  Abby spent the night at her cousin Pipers house, which allowed me to spend a little more time with Lexi.  I love Abby with all my heart, but she does have a tendency to hog the spot light here at home.  And since Colton still sleeps a good majority of the day, I got to play and goof around with Lexi a lot.  She is such a typical middle child, kind of going about her business when there is a lot going on here at home, but if given the oppertunity, loves some extra attention.

We had such a great weekend.  It really helped me to remember how blessed I am.  I have three beautiful kids, I live in a wonderful community, surrounded my nature, and the list goes on and on.  It was the perfect weekend, to hit the reset button, and erase all the silly stress that I tend to hold on to.
