Trip to Colorado, and Lexi's Birthday

We headed to Colorado on Dec 20th and came home late Christmas Eve.  It was such a fun, relaxing trip.  I feel like the last month has been stressful and overwhelming for me with my new calling in Young Women's and getting ready for Christmas, so I was more than ready for a few day's of just relaxing, and not doing a whole lot of anything.

We were able to get fairly cheap airplane tickets so that made it so much easier than driving.  All the kids were so excited to fly on an airplane!  Abby was acting like some sort of veteran cause she flew earlier in the year.

We celebrated Lexi's birthday while we were there.  She wanted to go to a jumping place, so we took the kids.  Then the next day Michelle and her family came to my parents for a birthday party.  She wanted to have a pink birthday party, with a little bit of LaLaLoopsy.  So that's what we gave her!

Sunday we celebrated Christmas with my family.  I failed to get any pictures of it though...
But mostly, we just hung around the house, which was fine by me.  It was just what I needed, to get a break from stress and responsibilities:)

At the airport waiting for our flight home.  It was Christmas eve, and the kids were getting excited to get home so Santa could come visit.

Abby's Dance Recital

Abby had her dance recital just before Christmas.  She did awesome!  They danced to "Do You Hear What I Hear"

My neighbor across the street helped me do her makeup, and I thought she looked so super cute!

American Fork Canyon

One day we decided to go up American Fork Canyon and drive up to Tibble Fork and then go for a little walk.  The kids loved it, especially Colton.

I'm not sure what's with the granny glasses look...

Playing in the snow

The kids love playing in the snow, and luckily we've had several snow storms so there has been plenty of opportunities to play.

Photo Dump

These are a bunch of photos from my phone.
I made those tiara's for the girls out of some pipe cleaners, they loved them.  Lexi is so cute, doing a curtsy.

Bath time!

We had to go to the Riverton Hospital to get Lexi's glasses fixed, and they had this Lorax display in the lobby.  Colton LOVES the Lorax, so we had to get a picture.
I took the girls across the street, and my neighbor cut their hair.  She did such an awesome job, and the girls love any photo opportunity;)

Colton had to get in on the photo fun!

Walk around the lake at Daybreak

Wow!  It's been forever since I posted.  So that means there is going to be several posts so I can get caught up on the busy last couple months.

Back in November we invited some of the girls friends over to spend the night, and on the way to taking them back home we stopped at Daybreak and went for a little walk.

The ducks and geese that are there must be very used to people feeding them cause as soon as they would see us coming, they would start to waddle over, and follow us.  It was so funny, and the kids thought it was hilarious.

There is a bridge that we walked across, then there is this little "track" at the top that the kids ran around and around.
